Synth-Pop Britannia

Whereas we can all hope for One Better World, ABC were hoping for one better album, but they came Up with an album of House music instead. 

As if by magic, ABC's sixth album appears, but founder member Mark White promptly disappears, saying "I've had enough of this" - meaning another ABC album full of House music dance grooves and techno sounds. Can't say I blame him for leaving. 

Finally, 34 years and eight albums later, it's the fabulous follow-up to The Lexicon of Love album (as if you hadn't already guessed), which includes lush orchestration courtesy of Anne Dudley, who you may recall was a key member of Art of Noise, and purely by coincidence, they're coming up here next.
