Hi there, is there any reason why the results of Album of the Year 2023 aren't sticky in "Top 10 and lists (as are the results of 2021 and 2022)? I have difficulties finding the 2023 results, but here my point is whether they should be sticky rather than asking for help finding them (I know they're on p. 2 of Prog Lounge now).

In the past, the topics were made by admin generally who stickied the topics themselves. I have done so for Mike's now, but that meant me editing his initial post (I am never comfortable about editing people's posts unless asked). I had thought that I had stickied topics before without having to do this and had looked into doing that with Mike's topic before, but couldn't (I later neglected to explore further). Also, the others were done in top tens and lists and this in the Prog lounge and I had wondered if I should move it. I have done so now. By the way, our PM boxes are open (both me and Nogbad are active) for suggestions. I am more likely to see those because these topics can fall off active topics when I'm lot looking at the site (sometimes I am gone for days or longer...). That is how most contact me for site business.

Thanks. A good move in my view.

Nice, but it might be nice too to unsticky the outdated threads (and not just in these subforums)...

An issue I have with that is that I then have to edit the post (something I do not like to do unless requested by the poster usually), but it then fills with code if images and rich text when I repost as a non-sticky topic. I accidentally edited Tapfret's Top 10s archives to non-sticky just now and it now looks a mess. Will try to clear it up and update with the results for all the years from 2005 up. EDIt: Such a huge amount of code, fonts and links to try to fix... Will take a long and very careful time. Sorry Tapfret. I don;t want to unsticky topics unless they lack rich text and images. If I could use the WYS whatever editor it would be better, but that does not work for me.
