RIP

For about 18 months we (BUSKER) had the same manager and played the same venues as Helix. Our drummer (Randy) played with the original guitarist (Paul Hackman) in a band called Whitehorse. Tragically Paul died in 1992 as the result of a tour van collision out west.

RIP Andy Brehme aged only 63, who in 1990 scored the only goal in the World Cup final when Germany beat Argentina 1:0. He was an extremely valuable player for every team for which he played, and a down-to-earth guy (born some half hour by foot from where I was born).

This young guitarist, Sam Knopp, was recently murdered in the USA.  Guns suck. 



I was curious about him so I looked him up on YouTube....he was an emerging talent, please enjoy!  He was only about 20 years old when he did this recital.  He puts the burners on his Les Paul about 22:00.  Cry

That really is very sad news, knew he'd been battling cancer for a couple of years. Such a lovely, warm man and together with Si King fused two great loves of many men of our age's passions of Motorbikes and Food!

Particularly poignant as i heard last night that a dear old friend and fellow biker of mine died after a short battle with cancer, a little bit younger than Dave and that i'm currently awaiting test results myself.
