I'm waiting on Caligula's Horse new album Charcoal Grace , it's not released until 26 January although someone has already posted a fake rating of 5 stars. This perhaps highlights why we need the monthly polls!

^ some reviewers get access to the music ahead of the release … I have only listened to the tracks that have been released as singles.

Hopefully people will be using throughout the year, which will help people when it comes to the AOTY 2024 list. Just one for me so far, but I think it's a very good one.

To those of you who have an AP account: I've already implemented the poll so that when you submit a list here, it shows on the AP polls as well. Since the accounts are linked, I can also do that in the other direction, so that when you submit a list on AP (which is more convenient since does not require the forum code copy/paste/scan thing), it automatically shows up in the PA polls as well.
What do you think? It would make submitting the lists much easier for those with an AP account (while it of course still works without one), but the process would be less transparent because you no longer have to post your list here for it to be counted.

^ for me no problem. As stated I did post a list for 2005, but have to admit I struggled to come up with 20 albums at all let alone ones of real quality. I enjoyed doing the rating thing (my number one Deadwing was 9.9 compared to PFM's Dracula Opera Rock 5.1 at the bottom!)
Back in the day I didn't seem to access as much music but then PA had only just come on the scene.
