Genre: Progressive Metal

BIO: Ring of Gyges are a Progressive Metal band from Iceland's Capital City Reykjavick.  They release their debut CD Beyond The Night Sky in 2017 and in 2023 follow that up with the highly acclaimed Metamorphosis.  With the success of Metamophosis it has garnered the band an opening slot on the Orphaned Land 2024 European Tour. 

Line-up: Helgi Jónsson - Lead vocals and guitar Guðjón Sveinsson - Guitar and vocals Gísli Þór Ingólfsson - Keyboards Þorsteinn Ýmir Ásgeirsson - Bass Einar Merlin Cortes - Drums

The band was rejected 6 years ago but as they released new music since then, we're going to re-evaluate. Smile

No problem, I quite enjoy doing them, in a strange kind of way lol!

It's actually the second time that they've been suggested this year without a decent bio. The other one was back in May (black_diamond): https://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=130958.

However, with quite a clear rejection last time they were evaluated, I'll wait until they're cleared before I set about the task now Embarrassed:

Being a re-evaluation, the band needs 4 votes of yes to be cleared. 
It will take some time with the evaluation of this band.

^ Thanks for that, though I always used to think that a re-evaluation on PA needed there to be unanimous approval from a team. It looks like there are currently five active Metal team members, so if we get a 'no' vote and four yeses, will that still be good enough get them through?
