Not a studio album!

This entry should be moved to TILION Boxset & Compilations (CD, LP, MC, SACD, DVD-A, Digital Media Download)

Track 1 comes from this album

Track 2 comes from this album

Track 3 is an unreleased bonus presumably recorded 'round the same time period.

Our page for Intencion + Reviure needs editing too, since it's not been realised thus far that the Reviure part of this compilation album is the 1999 live concert, not the original album from 1978:

- E&O Team: Thanks David, done. Could you double-check, please?

Yes, both pages look fine to me, Julien. Many thanks!

Nice job, I wanted to do the same, but I think we should keep the faulty cover art. After all, we are "archives".

I was only kidding. Also please take a look at this:

That's the same image that I uploaded here myself in my last post again, but this time with the dodgy text replaced by the corrected version of it.

- E&O Team: This image seems very "unofficial" to me... Maybe I'm wrong?

You may well be right, having now looked into this further.

If you go to DGM's page for the release, there is no complete cover art shown there, but if you look at the first line of text on the page where the word 'Orléans' appears, the 'é' character is a different size and font to the rest of the word, which makes me think that it might indeed have got converted to a gobbledegook character when creating the cover image, if that page was the source of the actual text that they used when they printed off the image. Alternatively, that page might also originally had é  Å© or whatever it actually is printed there, and whilst they have attempted to fix the text on the page with this enlarged version of the 'é' character, it was too late by then to do anything about the image that had been created from it.

Who knows, lol!

https://www.progarchives.com/artist.asp?id=7682 bio 2nd paragraph: "vocalisT" should be "vocalist", and "Gtr" could be "guitar".

Edit: Uhm? There seems to be a forum bug causing a whole chunk of JavaScript code to be included with my post. Gets re-added when I edit it out, too. Eventually, several edits later, it disappeared. Weird.

- E&O Team: Thanks, done.

Greetings NotAProg (and anyone else who cares to read the). I just wanted to follow up regarding my request to edit (or remove) some erroneous statements in the Mormos review written by ClemofNazareth. I have written to ClemofNazareth twice, and received no reply; and it has now been about 3 weeks. I also notice that Clem's last login was about a year ago, so perhaps he is no longer interested in Progarchives. Now I know that you want me to follow all the rules, and that I am supposed to contact an administrator to get this review removed; however, since you are the one who always replies to my posts, I figure that you are the best one to help me take care of this matter. Also, in case you, or anyone else one this thread wants to understand what I am talking about, I thought I would include the specific details here. (1) I don't mind that Clem gave us a 3-star review, after all, everyone is entitled to their opinion. (Our music was better understood in Europe than the US anyway.) But what really bothers me is that Clem had his facts wrong; and this should be some concern to Progarchives because Clem is listed as a "Special Collaborator Prog Folk Researcher". Shouldn't this mean that his facts should be correct? In his review, he states <<The group released a couple of albums before a few of them wandered back to the U.S. to land in a more conventional rock group named Mountain Bus (and later renamed to SkyFarmer after they were not surprisingly sued by Leslie West and his Mountain crew).>> This statement is not only wrong (we were in Mormos from 1971 - 73 in Europe, and Mountain Bus was in Chicago, Illinois USA, from 1969 - 71.); but furthermore, the so-called "lawsuit" of Mountain Bus is documented in many places on the internet (see included, below) - and the consensus by 100% of all internet sources concludes that this "lawsuit" was in fact NOT brought by "Leslie West and his Mountain Crew" - (Leslie West claims he had no knowledge of the lawsuit, nor did he approve of it, see the reference articles). Not that this is relevant to Mormos, but since I am friends with the Mountain Bus folks (and a fellow Chicagoan), this lawsuit was actually between their two record labels. Further, Mountain Bus was not "a conventional rock band" and no sensible musician would ever conclude that Mountain Bus ("Grateful Dead psychedelic") was similar to Leslie West's ("hard rock") band.  And so, to conclude, I don't really understand why Clem brought up Mountain Bus, or any part of their story, in giving a history of Mormos. In conclusion, when a reviewer adds incorrect facts to a review, it have an overall effect on a reader's viewpoint, and therefore, I would urge Progarchives to either remove the review, or at least remove the factually incorrect information in that review. (There were also smaller inaccuracies in the review: Clem stated that Annie Hat (Williams) later "became" Ann Linquist (not true, they are two different people); and that Annie played the flute (no, I was the flutist.) Thanks for reading, and here are the links regarding Mountain Bus: https://www.psychedelicbabymag.com/2014/12/mountain-bus-interview-with-bill-kees.html   === https://www.theguardian.com/music/musicblog/2013/jul/10/101-strangest-spotify-mountain-bus =====  https://www.allmusic.com/artist/mountain-bus-mn0000929366#biography

Taken from the New Suggestions forum, where the band's keyboard player Miquel González has posted this update/correction:

Awesome! Thanks!

Could you guys change the profile picture, though? This is a very old picture and not a very representative one. Here you have a current one, done by a professional photographer. :)

https://regna.cat/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/Photoshoot-Regna-Cinema-Finales-68.jpg

Also, my name is not Miguel González, it's Miquel González. It has a very common typo in Spanish, but it would be nice if it's corrected.

Thank you!

Might get done quicker if posted here, since some collabs might be taking a bit of a Christmas breather from their PA activities.

Edit: Please ignore this post - it looks like rdtprog has now attended to this matter himself. Embarrassed

Ernie, I get your point: the band is not well known and factual errors can give PA visitors a wrong picture.
I don't feel it would be correct if I ask admins to delete Clem's review(s).

I'll ask Prog Folk team to "find" Clem and ask him to contact you in order to edit his reviews.
If Clem will not show I think all we can do is to add some notes to your part of MORMOS bio. Something like:
Correcting errors:
False: All MORMOS members were heavy drinkers.
True: Each musician had his/her own drug of choice. Smile
(Of course we'll do it in a serious way)
