Thanks guys. :)

Paul, "Orinoco Flow" has been a particular favourite of mine, especially in the late 80s and early 90s when I was especially listening to Enya a lot. That's the first song I recall hearing of hers. It would play in rotation at this wharf in Cairns, Australia which was a very memorable time of my life. It makes me feel very nostalgic.

Lots of stuff I am into on your list (and on Ians...). It cab be a lot of effort, but it has reconnected me with various music, and in some cases it led to me exploring more music. For instance, I'm really big on Fishmans' Long Season which I got into not that long ago, but for this I decided to play Fishmans' album Uchu Nippon Setagaya for the first time in full and especially found "Daydream" to be excellent.

The 90s is a really great period of music for me, and getting into music from this time especially thanks to hearing Chris Morris music meets dark sketch comedy show Blue Jam had a huge effect on my interests.

If I were to choose five today from my list, I'd go with (really hard just going with five, or I'll go six):

Mr. Bungle "Pink Cigarette"
Komeda "Cul de Sac"
Boards of Canada "Aquarius"
Fishmans "Daydream"
Mercury Rev "Holes"
Aphex Twin "Fingerbib"

...and Fishmans are on my list because of you introducing me to them.

^ Nice. I have discovered lots of great music thanks to you and others. Too often I forget what it is, however. I wish I'd kept better track before. But then this series should helps me to discover and keep better track of lots of music. Kind of surprised that I neglected to mention .O.rang. Love Herd of Instinct. I was not familiar with Scorn -- or very familiar as I sometimes forget what I am familiar with and sometimes forget that I am forgetful -- so I am listening to Hush now and really digging it.
