Me and my Brother used to bicker about who was a better drummer, Bonham or Bruford.
I'm curious to hear y'all's opinions, thoughs? Edited by Frets N Worries - November 09 2023 at 07:04 |

There is NO Greatest Drummer of ALL time. There are only Greatest Drummers of a SPECIFIC time. But to scratch your itch.. in no particular order. And remember, this is Prog only, there are soooo many more from soooo many other genres that absolutely shine. Carl Palmer Neil Peart Phil Collins (yup) Bill Bruford Phil Ehart

Buddy Rich. Gene Krupa a close second. My bladder tap dances to semi-aquatic sofas and mustache refrigerators.

The question was about Bonham & Bruford, and who was 'greatest'. Greatest indicates power, importance, size, intensity, strength. That's easy, the one and only John Henry 'Bonzo Dog' Bonham. |
