Hi,

The theme was done by "The Chef" (see if you can remember!!!) ... don't forget that! But it helped illuminate the film a lot as the music was well used!
Music is not just for listening ... it is for LIVING ... you got to feel it to know what's it about! Not being told!

Both albums are great. The first Shaft OST has some crazy psychedelic jams.

HOLY F#@KING CHRIST !!!  Cry
RIP Matthew.

The Emmy-nominated actor was found dead of an apparent drowning at his Los Angeles home Saturday, according to the Los Angeles Times and celebrity website TMZ, which was the first to report the news. Both outlets cited unnamed sources confirming Perry’s death.

Wow, that seems older than I would have thought for a band of it's age. He was almost 40 when they did their first album. I always thought they were a bunch of Music Academy guys in their early 20's.
72, still a young age to go.

RIP

^ he was 20 years older than the other DT guys, one of the reasons he wasn‘t a good match. But he was a great singer, and I still really like the album.

Former Detroit Tigers reliever Willie Hernández passed away on November 20, at age 69. I remember his spectacular 1984 season, becoming only the third pitcher in history to win MVP, Cy Young, and World Series honors in the same season (McClain and Koufax were the other two). I still remember his brief stint with the Phillies in 1983. RIP.
