I do like that Gun album.

Apparently it was Roger Dean's first album cover? Smile

I picked up the fully-loaded Gun album for just 99p from a charity shop recently, so I felt very lucky that day. Big smile

I thought Ramases' Space Hymns was Roger Dean's first album cover. Ermm

A quite difficult choice for me between

In-a-Gadda-da-Vida   and   Electric Ladyland

even I might be most fond of the former.

It looks like Jimi already has this poll sewn up, leaving all of the other albums behind in his wake in a Purple Haze of smoke, just like these polls which are as ephemeral as Castles Made of Sand. Smile

Not really. First, you're going to need a unicorn and a cow. And then some socks with nouns inside. Embarrassed

Yeah, In-a-Gadda-da-Vida, it makes it at least a bit more interesting. Big smile

^ Up until starting this series of polls, I had no idea there were quite so many Psychedelic Rock albums released in the year 1968 alone, and with 25 albums per poll, this fourth poll in the series rounds it up to 100 albums -  and we're not even halfway through the alphabet yet. In-a-Gadda-da-Vida indeed! Geek

According to RYM, 1968 with about 900 releases is together with 1969 the most productive years of Psychedelic Rock.

Around about the same time I first went online in 2010, and back when I thought an Iron Butterfly was some kind of rare moth. Tongue
