In 1973, Patrick Campbell Lyons originally released the album "Me And My Friend." However, in 2001, it was reissued and promoted as a Nirvana album. Therefore, for website inclusion, I recommend displaying the album as the 2001 version. This would also avoid the possibility of theoretically adding all of Patrick Campbell Lyons's solo albums under the band Nirvana.

I believe the title should be changed to "Nirvana and Patrick Campbell Lyons: Me And My Friend" and the release date should be updated to 2001.

The album cover should also be updated to the 2001 version.

Track-listing:
1. Out Of Nowhere (2:06)
2. Friends (4:33)
3. Mother England (3:51)
4. Everybody Should Fly A Kite (4:31)
5. Tomorrow I'll Make You Smile (2:13)
6. Me And My Friend (4:11)
7. Jesus Christ Junior (4:41)
8. I Think I Want Him Too (2:32)
9. 1974 (2:40)
10. Watch Out Cassius Clay (3:19)
11. Out On The Road (3:12)
12. Please Believe Me (2:56)
13. Lord Up Above (4:08)
14. She's Lost It (4:59)
15. Nova Sketch (1:47)
16. I Need Your Love Tonight (3:27)
17. Will There Be Me (2:15)
18. Stadium (7:09)

Total time 64:30

Releases information:
Tracks 1-10 are featured in the original 1973 solo album.

Tracks 1-10 engineered at Orange Studio, London, 1973.
Track 11 engineered at Pye Studios, London, 1972.
Tracks 12-18 engineered at Philips Studios, London, 1972.

The name " Larry Coryell" is misspelled on the single "The Free Spirts: Tattoo Man / Girl Of The Mountain".

Hello,
I am Carmine Capasso, guitarist for The Trip.
We noticed errors in the credits of the record in question, recently added on the platform...

http://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=82373

I am writing the correct credits here:

The band:

Pino Sinnone - drums
Andrea Ranfagni - vocals
Carmine Capasso - guitars, sitar, theremin, drums (4), morphwiz, percussion
Tony Alemanno - bass guitar, vocals
Andrea Dave D'Avino - keyboards, vocals

Guests

Giuseppe Sarno - hammond (track 3)
Max Botto - keyboards and composition (tracks 1-2-6-7)
Nico Di Palo - vocals (track 4)

thank you so much,

Carmine

^ Yes I agree, most people wouldn't care about this since it's not really essential to include the date and location of the recording of a release anyway, and with so many releases existing on this site it would be virtually impossible to have a consistent standard for this information right across the board. The only reason that I posted here that I had accidentally omitted that line about where and when the 'Free' album was recorded is that the band had been cleared a whole year ago but hadn't yet been added (due to lack of biographical information), so I contacted them, and one of their members took a lot of trouble to prepare a document for me over the weekend listing virtually everything they'd ever done - gigs, music releases, personnel changes etc. I felt that after she'd spent so much time preparing all this information for me it would be totally wrong of me to then go and miss some of it out!

As long as all their releases now follow the same format for listing the releases information then we're good to go. That example you posted above of the 'Magnifique Eccentrique' EP, where the band provided very detailed release information certainly reads well now, so thanks for tidying all this up for me. Thumbs Up

^ All albums updated.

Everyone might have a different view on this, and most people might not even care, but IMO the chronological order seems better in the Releases information. I always list the release dates at the bottom, and all additional info at the top.

That makes sense. My own logic was that the info relating to the actual releases was more important than the date and location that the music was recorded at, so whenever this extra info is available I just shove it in at the bottom lol!

I added all the albums that had recording location and date information in the same way, so do you want to shift that particular line to the top of the releases info section of those too, so that the other albums match the 'Free' album?

Edit: Live albums and the EP too, not just studio albums - in fact everything except the singles 'Slightly Burnt Toast', 'Air' and 'Burnt Toast'.

Minor issue (& my own mistake): I'd appreciate it if a line of the releases information that I've missed out could be added in at the bottom: 'Recorded at The Backstage Theatre, Purfleet on 27th October 2017'

Thanks, and sorry! Embarrassed

Not studio, sorry.

Unloading our equipment into Abbey Road - Studio 2 was like some untouchable dream you had as a child but were now part of. With the giants of music breathing down our necks and all those classic songs still ghosting in the walls, we set the band up together with a string

quartet to record a live performance. There was no audience, barring the on-site engineers, film crew and some onlookers from York St John University. We all knew this was a once in a lifetime opportunity.

This was just us performing live - a group of musicians performing as one when it really mattered, in that incredible cathedral of music history, Abbey Road - Studio 2.”
