Quo Vadis Ukraine?

Reading through the posts of those who would denigrate Ukraine's attempts to free themselves from their oppressor, it seems we have one Westerner who means well, but who lacks real life experience dealing with the Russian government and gets a lot of info from youtube.
While there is another Westerner who seems to be straight up pro-Russian and hopes Ukraine falls to the imperialists.

They say politics makes for strange bedfellows, but possibly defending imperialistic death and destruction makes for even stranger ones.

I sleep as well as I can. There is no way for me to REALLY know what is happening in the Ukraine. You don’t strike me as a reliable source because of all the anger and hatred in your posts, plus you keep making jokes around the subject and do not really seem to be that concerned about anything.

Worry not! I doubt that what I have posted here will have any measurable effect on the war. We’ll see what happens next, but only filtered through our sources and biases. I wish you all the best! May the violence end, regardless of who commits it.

Not the subject - I laugh at people who willingly spread the russian propaganda for free...not realizing their country is the next target for those whom they so selflessly protecting

BTW: I'll take a break from this thread for at least a month. It doesn't seem like there is anything more to say right now. We'll see how the fighting goes. I am for ending the bloodshed and for starting negotiations, and I know that makes me sound like a Russian apologist (after all, only evil people negotiate). Since a lot of people here are eager to see the war escalate, possibly involving Western Europe or eventually the whole world, things could get interesting. See you then (or admins close the thread, in which case I'll never say anything about Ukraine in this forum again. They make the rules, and I'm happy to concentrate on music, which is infinitely more positive than any political topics).
