I would imagine that there is a lot more of this stuff hidden in many places, and it scares me that a lot of folks from the Middle East do not have anything of the like, and more than likely was either destroyed or simply wasted, although I'm not sure that "electricity" is available everywhere in the same quality and capacity as it is in the majority of the western world, which would make the doing of these things tougher all around, and likely not even started. And the same would go for Africa.

Good stuff ... specially for its time!!! I would be curious to what Peter Michael Hamel would have said or heard, since he did so many studies of a lot of eastern music, and likely would have known something about this.
