^ Hi David,
I've fixed the thing. About the "comma case", my automated script is -- among many other things -- removing all spaces between tracks numbers in the musicians field. There is no official rule about it, but I like the more compact look of it when it has no space. I feel the musician names and instruments are more important than track numbers! (IMO, of course) By the way, I don't see what you see: "the number 11 also having a space after the number itself, as well as between the comma and the next track number" ?? I just can't find it! I didn't touch the bio. I'm going to sleep now...

^ I understand what you're saying about the more compact look of the musicians field with the spaces between track numbers omitted, and that would be fine if it were agreed here as the accepted format for listings like this in the musicians field.
However, Eugene had altered my own musicians field listing for The Old Man & The Sea's compilation album to remove the spaces where the subsequent number was a single digit, whilst leaving them in where it was a two-digit number, so I was curious to know whether this might be the general PA policy for these types of listings. Regarding the space after the number 11, he added this extra space to my listing on all three occasions where this number occurred with another one following it - here: Ole Wedel / lead vocals (2-5,8,9,11,12), piano (10), here: Lasse "Las" Laursen / guitar (2,4,5,8-11,13), and here: Erik R. Halager / bass (4,5,8,9,11,12), so the addition of this extra space is consistent wherever the number 11 occurs with another one following it, and thus seems to be a deliberate action on his part rather than just typos. If your automated script is written to remove all spaces in these musicians field listing where there is a sequence of track numbers included, then that would seem to be the format we should accept as the 'general rule' for such listings if a guideline for this doesn't currently exist, but let's see what Eugene has to say on the matter. I'll post a new biography here for consideration - probably later on today or early tomorrow - depending on whereabouts in the World you live!

That's funny, David, because in those 3 examples, there are no spaces at all. It's an illusion caused by the font. The "1" character has more void than others on each side. If you want to be sure, just copy and paste the quote above in some notepad-editor, you'll see. And, for your info, I don't think Eugene removed any spaces. My script did.

^ Well I'll be damned lol! No spaces, just as you say! The reason it looks like there's a space after the 11 on the album page is because the numbers 1 or 11 as they appear on our album page don't have the little protrusions at the bottom that they have when you actually type them out here, so the lack of these protrusions at the bottom makes it look as though there's a space before and after the comma! The number 1 on the keypad of my laptop has no protrusions at the bottom either, so it seems the PA main site software reproduces the number to match the way it looks on the standard QWERTY keyboard.
Sorry to have made such an issue over something that didn't exist - and yeah, there are actually no spaces between the track numbers in any of the musicians entries on that page, now that I understand what's going on here, so it was indeed most likely to be your script which took them out rather than Eugene. In future, no spaces will be added after the commas by me when I post any musicians updates here - so that'll save your script a job lol!

The Vitral line-up on their new album Os Loucos is not correct on the site.
Heres is the right one taken from their Bandcamp ( https://vitralband.bandcamp.com/album/os-loucos) and confirmed by Bruno Moscatiello: VITRAL For example, Elisa Wiermann credited with keyboards never recorded with the band although she was there at the early stage of their creation. |

THE OLD MAN & THE SEA - possible replacement biography for consideration. Formed Horsens, Midtjylland, Denmark in 1967. Disbanded Brund, Midtjylland, Denmark in 1975. Briefly reformed for a single show in 1990, and again in 2003. THE OLD MAN & THE SEA was a progressive rock band from Denmark which was formed in Horsens, Midtjylland in 1967 by Benny STANLEY (guitar), Knud LINDHARD (bass) and Tommy HANSEEN (organ, keyboards). The band's first line-up was finalised with the addition of Lars "Beske" THYGESEN on drums and Robert HAUSCHILD on vocals. This version of the band toured widely in Denmark and also played some gigs in Norway, but split up when they returned from there in 1969. They then reformed in 1971 with a new line-up, bringing in John LUNDVIG to replace Lars THYGESEN on drums, and Ole WEDEL to replace Robert HAUSCHILD on vocals. The remaining core of the first incarnation of the band had earlier relocated to Brund, Midtjylland, and the reincarnation of the band was signed to Sonet Records after being introduced to sound engineer Freddy Hansson, who was working for Rosenberg Studios in Copenhagen, and had an agreement with Sonet allowing him to sign artists and do recordings with them. The band went on to record their self-titled 'Old Man and the Sea' debut album at Rosenberg Studios in 1972. However, according to keyboard player Tommy HANSEN, Sonet didn't have a clue about how to handle the final product, and only managed to press 500 copies - most if not all of which were faulty - with at least two or three skips when played on a normal turntable. As a result the record soon became a collectors item, and was subsequently counterfeited at least twice. Despite feeling very strong about the future when returning from Copenhagen after finishing the recordings, the band was soon to be badly shaken by bassist Knud LINDHARD's announcement that he was ready to leave the band for good. The line-up was so integrated at that time that it really felt impossible to find a replacement for him. However, live performances went on - with several new band members being drafted in during this period. Sometime after the release of their first album, the band began composing new material for a second album. By then they were very much influenced by the YES 'Close to the Edge' album, and had a few songs taking off in a similar direction. However, the record companies didn’t seem interested in that style of music, and despite the band approaching CBS Denmark about a possible record deal, nothing came of it, and they split up again in 1975. Moving on a good few years, the band eventually got together again and played 2 single shows with different member line-ups, firstly in 1990 and finally in 2003. As a result of the second show in 2003, the Danish label Karma Music released a compilation album called simply '1972-75' which consisted of an assembly of studio tracks culled from demos, live recordings and the unreleased second album. The German Shadoks label then produced a high quality vinyl reissue of 'The Old Man and the Sea' debut album in 2013 with two bonus tracks, which was scheduled for release in late January to early February of that year. Keyboard player Tommy Hansen was also part of the original line-up of symphonic rock band Iron Duke in the mid-1970's. He subsequently became the founder and manager of Toma Studio and Jailhouse Studio in Denmark, being best known for his production work with with the German power metal band Helloween. THE OLD MAN & THE SEA's sound is heavily organ driven, with some fine guitar work and well delivered vocals, and has been compared to a rough JETHRO TULL (Aqualung period) or ATOMIC ROOSTER style, the music being tightly played on the whole, but also with plenty of space left for instrumental interplay on some of the tracks. : : : Hugues Chantraine, BELGIUM : : : Expanded by David (yam yam) from various sources, October 2023. E&O Team: Thanks, David, well done! And done.

Kramer - Life Cycle (2007): https://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=25982. No total time, formatting of musicians field needs tidying up. The times below are the ones already on our page. Several of the ones on Discogs are longer by a second, but I didn't think it was enough to merit altering them. I'll leave it up to you guys to chose which set to use. 1. Homecoming (7:11) 2. Remember Me (7:16) 3. Identity (8:09) 4. Escape Into A Dream (8:35) 5. A Farewell (7:28) 6. We Mortals (11:24) 7. I Believe (4:57) 8. The Final Chord (9:22) 9. Life Cycle (6:37) Total time 70:59 - Rob de Jong / guitars, keyboards, vocals - Jeroen Vriend / bass, vocals - Harald Veenker / drums - Marc Besselink / vocals, keyboards CD self-released (2007, Netherlands) E&O Team: Thanks David, done. Cover art also updated.

https://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=82336 This was supposed to say "LΦVE & EVΦL," but if this is not possible due to unicode restrictions, "LOVE & EVOL" works as well, and the band styles it like that sometimes. If possible, the tracks "LOVE" and "EVOL" should say "LφVE" and "EVφL," respectively.

Sorry, I didn't notice the bloody thing. And thanks for fixing it. As for commas, when I edit albums I always add spaces after them. If some were not added it means I was not careful enough. Hate the spaceless lists like 1,2,3,13 with all my heart and soul.
I'll take care. |

These are duplicates: https://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=82320 https://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=82321 and this is more of a nitpick than anything, but for the original release of the album, as it's a lowercase "boris" album, the band has it stylized as: "boris at last -feedbacker-" and this was the original album art: https://ia601008.us.archive.org/2/items/mbid-8cfffa6b-fd6b-4ec0-a92e-45893d3bfe8e/mbid-8cfffa6b-fd6b-4ec0-a92e-45893d3bfe8e-28560912435.jpg The tracks were unlisted, so typically they're written as: [untitled] [untitled] [untitled] [untitled] [untitled] The current album art and track listing was for the 2019 re-release, simply entitled "Feedbacker," without "Boris at Last."

Easy one for a change lol!
Mindspeak - Eclipse Chaser (2019): https://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=62233. Just needs the ? removing from Thomas Körner in the additional musicians list. Discogs doesn't have as much info as bandcamp for this one, so for confirmation: https://mindspeak.bandcamp.com/album/eclipse-chaser-special-edition-2. However, bandcamp's track listing is very poorly done, since it doesn't make it clear that tracks 3-8 are components of the long piece called 'The Human Element'. Our track list is correct regarding this matter. Edit: Thomas features on the debut album too, and on that page we have spelt his surname with just a plain 'o', so maybe you could fix that too?

^ Both albums are excellent!
The band is still together and playing live shows, though the original bass player left in December 2022 (amicably & on very good terms - he just wanted to pursue other interests in life) after 13 years with the band, and was replaced in January this year. There are two new (but still unreleased) songs being featured in some of their current setlists, so hopefully we'll get to add those to the database before too long. If you (or Eugene) wanted to update the biography (which the band originally supplied themselves), then you could maybe add something like: ------------------------------------------------------------------- Since the release of their debut album 'Pictures', Mindspeak has traveled widely, performing numerous concerts in Austria as well as touring Romania, Serbia, Bosnia, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Slovakia. In 2018 they performed at the '2Days Prog + 1 Festival', which is Italy's largest progressive rock festival. The band's second studio album 'Eclipse Chaser' was released on June 21st 2019, and was presented in full at the Café Aera, Vienna, album release show on the same day, supported by Austrian female-fronted alternative rock band Leesa (fronted by Lisa Rodlauer). On 19th December 2022, after more than 13 years with the band, bassist Simon Nagy decided to pursue other projects in life and left amicably. He was replaced by Darwin Lorber at the beginning of January 2023, and two new (but hitherto unreleased) songs - 'Chant' and 'The Chase' - were being performed at some of the subsequent gigs featuring him. ---------------------------------------------------------------

^ Those paragraphs were put together by me from some information contained within several posts on the band's facebook page, plus a Background Magazine review of a gig they did at 't Blok, Nieuwerkerk in Holland on February 5, 2023.
Perhaps you could put a dotted line beneath what the band provided originally to isolate it from the new text, and just add in at the bottom that the additional update was provided by David (yam yam) October 2023. There's not really enough extra material there this time to say that it was complied from various sources lol!
