Who remastered this version? I'm not a CD guy so have no interest but if a LP version comes out maybe. My original USA 1974 Passport label version is excellent sounding as it was mastered by Bob Ludwig at Sterling Sound.

Hi,
I think I would rather take the memory of the show at the Santa Monica Civic on Nektar's first trip to America ... you can't improve on that, specially as the version of "Marvelous Moses" in there was vastly superior to what eventually came out later, in my estimation. Somehow, a lot of these "remasters" are not for me, who experienced the band twice in their 1st and 2nd tour, and never forgot them or their music. While having this feeling is not meant to take the experience away from another generation later, somehow, even though I'm not a purist by any stretch of the imagination, it's not attractive to me, and I hope that some folks take to it ... specially as the band is not exactly one of the top favorites here on PA. I have my memories ... ask Mo about the guy that had a button on his shirt made for the band! He might remember it! The one thing I miss the most ... is the TRUTH in the music by this band ... "It sounds Like This" ... and they did ... 110% and then some ... and no one could ask more from a band! Totally far out and beautiful.

Music is not just for listening ... it is for LIVING ... you got to feel it to know what's it about! Not being told!
