Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson

That's harsh. LOL
Eve is indeed a drop in quality compared to their previous work, but still pretty good IMO. Smile
As for BJHarmless, they did worse than that one. LOL

As you know, I'm a BJH fan, but they seemed to drop off a cliff sound-wise after Wooly left in 1978 (XII), taking his mellotron with him... after that, the instrumentation became wafer-thin as they attempted to become a soft pop-rock band. Recently, I gave 'Eyes Of The Universe' a couple of spins for old times sake and thought 'yuk'.

It's where BJHarmless tried to be Alan Parsons Project. LOL

Before:

Noname - Sundial

Now:

Travis Scott - Utopia - Opens with a Gentle Giant sample! That song then ends with a Funkadelic sample and maybe "Welcome To The Machine" too.

This would be really good if not for the production. I'm not sure what exactly went wrong as there is enough dynamism and the DR is 9. But it still sounds awfully overproduced and just not good. That's the only thing keeping this from having a good rating, imo.
