^ That hyperlink currently appears to lead to a seemingly unrelated page at Proggnosis, but Elton Novara was the second guitarist for 'The Burial' album (which they recorded while still named Banaau). Walter Kesten didn't become the second guitarist until 2016. See: http://www.banaau.com/News.aspx#fim_2016.
Confirmation of Elton as second guitarist on 'The Burial' can be found either at https://progressivamenteblog.blogspot.com/2016/10/banaau-burial-2016.html or https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O5LkxokKDLY.

^ Yeah, link is good now, and so is the info there. Elton Novara was the second guitarist on this particular release.

^ Thanks David. The page is now updated. I wonder where Mayer found Walter Kesten as the guitarist...?

^ Maybe he got it from a site which confused the issue as a result of the FIM international music exhibition which is held every year in Italy, and at which Banaau performed "The Burial" album live in full in 2016 with their new guitarist (Walter Kesten). See here.

Actually, the bio could perhaps do with a tweak too. It says at the bottom that the name was changed to Hollowscene in 2016, whereas the official biography says the change didn't complete until 2018: http://www.banaau.com/Bio.aspx.
Edit: If you make this change then the first line of the bio will need changing too. In fact the whole bio could do with a slight update really. Maybe Louis will add another paragraph to it to cover the more recent events?

This is NOT a Little Tragedies album, it's Gennady Ilyin's album, we don't have Steve Hackett's albums or Peter Gabriel's albums under Genesis, we don't have Ian Anderson's albums under Jethro Tull and so on.. so this is NOT Little Tragedies album

Those track timings above give an overall total of 56:27 by my calculation, so something ain't quite right, and when I listened to that Prog Line upload of the album myself via the timestamps that are given, I get these track timings: 1. Let Go Of The Past (5:28) 2. Lost (Part 1) (5:27) 3. Lost (Part 2) (3:16) 4. Alive On The Inside (3:13) 5. The Swing (7:28) 6. The Changing Die (5:01) 7. Living In A Dream (Part 1) (3:25) 8. Living In A Dream (Part 2) (2:39) 9. Lost (Part 3) (7:37) 10. Picking Up The Pieces (6:13) 11. Let Go Of The Past (Radio Edit) (4:05) Total time 53:52 However both RYM and Proggnosis agree with Discogs and the current tracks & timings we have here on PA, so it seems that there must be two versions of this album out there. There is another upload here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RIv43La6oBk which omits the tracks 'Alive On The Inside' and 'The Changing Die', as well as cutting the endings short on a couple of other tracks, but otherwise matches the Prog Line version and its timings. Difficult one...I'll leave Julien and Eugene to decide what to do here. Not much other info around from a quick Google search, it appears.

^ Looks like the guys gave one set of songs to CD-printing company and a different one to cover designers. Then realized that they are
11. Let Go of the Past (Radio Edit) (4:05) looks like a bonus track. So very confusing album anyway. I would do the same as on Discogs, i.e. leave the current track listing and add a note (without timings): CD includes xerox sheet with the correct track listing: 1. Let Go of The Past 2. Lost (Parts I & II) 3. Alive On The Inside 4. The Swing 5. The Changing Die 6. Living In A Dream 7. Lost (Part 3) 8. Picking Up The Pieces 9. Let Go of The Past (Radio Edit) At least until someone who owns the CD gives us correct list and timings. Edited by NotAProghead - August 08 2023 at 18:51 |

The timings we have on our page at the moment are pretty much in agreement with the Prog Line upload of the album (to within a couple of seconds or so) when you compare the two running orders, so I guess all we need to do is alter the running order to match Prog Line in the note you are proposing to add, and include the same timings we already have for the wrong running order - which is the one that seems to have found its way onto all these other sites as well.
1. Let Go of The Past (5:29) 2. Lost (Parts I & II) (8:43) 3. Alive On The Inside (3:11) 4. The Swing (7:30) 5. The Changing Die (4:58) 6. Living In A Dream (6:05) 7. Lost (Part 3) (7:36) 8. Picking Up The Pieces (6:12) 9. Let Go of The Past (Radio Edit) (4:03) Total time 53:52

There are 2 ways: 1. Leave albums as they are. 2. Delete Gennady Ilyin's albums and, if someone's brave enough, start the "Add new artist" procedure for Gennady. I prefer the 1st option, because Gennady Ilyin is the mastermind (main composer, keyboardist and singer) of the band, i.e. Gennady Ilyin is almost equal to LITTLE TRAGEDIES. By the way, the Porcelain Pavilion was released as an LT album in 2000 and re-released in 2009 as Gennady's solo album. Where it belongs?

OK guys, I found online all the information needed. The correct timings from the official CD (with the wrong titles order) combined to the correct running order from the Xerox sheet. Moreover, if we listen to the lyrics, we can confirm that this is all right. So case closed! P.S. I also think there is only 1 version of this album. This one:
