I voted for T'Pau because its quite a good collection of songs. But I wouldn't call it new wave. More like an eclectic pop rock collection.
Their 2nd album was better imo. It was less commercial, had a harder edge to the sound, and held together better as an album imo. The so called 'Canadian version' is worth seeking out.

T'Pau's Bridge of Spies is one of my favourite albums, although I wouldn't call it New Wave either.

Actually, I'm not a big fan of the Pet Shop Boys, but I Love the song they did with Dusty Springfield. Edited by Psychedelic Paul - July 27 2023 at 11:24 |

^ I always liked that song too. My favourite by them is West End Girls. I have always been fond of Being Boring as well.

A good band, but not remotely psychedelic. |

Great band, I particularly like the first two albums 'Psychedelic Furs' and 'Talk Talk Talk'
'India' and 'Sister Europe' from the first album are two of my particular favourites tracks!

The music of The Psychedelic Furs was a complete mystery to me before running this series of polls, so it came as something of a surprise to discover they're not psychedelic at all.
