I think you're right. Prog Rock only makes up about 6% of my CD collection.

^ Out of curiosity, what percentage of the albums in this list (which albums) would you say are in your collection? I only have Time Out and Kind of Blue, but I have heard other music in the list. It;s not a period from which I have listened to very many albums. Like many here I expect, it's around 1967 where I start seriously collecting (quite a lot from 1966 too).
I voted for Time Out. I was expecting to see Mingus Ah Um (1959) in the list, and it would have got my vote. That said, my favouriter Mingus is, rather predictably I would think, 1963's The Black Saint and the Sinner Lady. |

Sadly, I don't have any CD albums in the poll, but I have all 14 of Les Baxter's CD albums listed above. I have 32 albums by Les Baxter in total - more than any other artist.

Heard many (if not all) of these artists, but as an album I think I only heard Kind of Blue in full, but none of the other albums, so it would not be constructive (at least not to me) to vote in this poll. But I like the fact that you post links to these albums in your post, it allows to get acquainted with the music more easily, if one wished... Here, I'm not that curious to explore those other artists, though.

Paul, you truly are King of the Polls🤣🤣🤣
Way before my time and there’s no hope of me voting…. But if I did it certainly wouldn’t be Frank Sinatra, a truly awful singer🙀 |

I'm not quite old enough to remember the fifties, seeing as I wasn't born until 1959, so Frank Sinatra's a bit before my time too, although I'm not too young to appreciate the Space Age Pop of Les Baxter & His Orchestra.
