This poll is based on the submissions to the topic In & out of PA faves: starting 2023 & moving down (CLICK to see) There were seven participants with two albums for each of these, and more, years -- one being an album included in Prog Archives and one not. Since black midi's Hellfire came up three times (Mira, Ian and me) I only included it once. Squid's BGF came up twice and I only included it once in the poll. this worked out to a perfect 25 poll options. Unlike the last poll, this time there are no multiple votes, and choose a favourite album. Please mention nay others you like on this list and not on the list and please consider adding your duos to the topic I linked to above.
Feel free to vote not matter how familiar you are with the selections -- it's not a contest. My submissions were hellfire, Bright Green Field, And in the Darkness Hearts Aglow, and Ming Ming. Much as I appreciate my selections, duh, I won't vote until I check out music from the other albums (nor will I vote for my own). If I were to choose one of mine, I adore that Weyes Blood album and it is something my wife really loves too. 2022: black midi - Hellfire* Weyes Blood - And in the Darkness, Hearts Aglow Wippy Bonstack - 22 The Lickerish Quartet - Threesome Vol. 3 Black Midi - Hellfire* Anteloper - Pink Dolphins Black Midi - Hellfire* Sevish - Morphable Five-storey ensemble - Presence SO SNER - Reime Birth - Born Hangman's Chair - A Loner Collage - Over and Out Amberian Dawn - Take a Chance: A Metal Tribute to ABBA * Hellfire mentioned thrice so in the poll I just have it once. 2021: Squid - Bright Green Field* otay:onii - Ming Ming French TV - All Our Failures Are Behind Us The Lickerish Quartet - Threesome Vol. 2 Squid - Bright Green Field* Ill Considered - Liminal Space Tatsuya Yoshida & Risa Takeda - Hue Dani Lee Pearce - Unfair Harmonies Battlestations - Splinters Vol. I Tremor Amon Tobin - How Do You Live Needlepoint - Walking up That Valley Sur Austru – Obârșie Mostly Autumn - Graveyard Star Sirenia - Riddles, Ruins & Revelations * Bright Green Field mentioned twice, so just once in poll. Most obviously I should prefer the albums that I myself nominated, but as a matter of principle I'll vote for my favourite out of those nominated by others, which is Needlepoint.
