I've actually gone for DDA; he was superb in it.

Just wondering Paul, why you never included Serpico? A strong contender...

Oh my God! I can't believe I forgot to include Serpico in the poll - one of my favourite Al Pacino movies! Thanks for reminding me. I'll swap it for Scarecrow, which came out the same year. Embarrassed

From reading your posts, I know we share more in common when it comes to film. With music, we just need the right two choices with one being an absolutely undeniable stinker that can't even be enjoyed in a so good it's bad way and the question could be "vote for the one less terrible", or "vote for the one most terrible" as an example. ;)

The Godfather Part II. Currently watching TV series The Offer which shows that Pacino was not the natural choice to play Michael Corleone but he certainly made it his!

Probably Dog Day, but Panic in Needle Park is one of those brutally real '70s films that you just don't see anymore, blurring the lines between fiction and documentary.
