What does it mean if the cartridge is part of the tonearm? Is that bad?

In more expensive turntables, the cartridge is made separately and can be taken of the tonearm.

No, I don't think you'd hear the difference.

Well there are.....but I think with your tonearm the cartridge is part of the tonearm. This stylus is a sapphire tip, not gonna perform well and more importantly it can ruin your records......Buy this one from LP Gear, they make these upgraded ones for your tonearm. Has a diamond tip which is much better performance and will last 10x as long if not more. Make sure you clean your records....

It has to be one which fit with your tonearm, and I don't know about which possibilities there are.

How do I know if the one Catcher10 said will fit? What does it mean if the cartridge is part of the tonearm? Is that bad?
The manual states replacement stylus is STL 103.....You can call LP Gear if you still have doubts.

Ok I will get that one when I can. Should I avoid playing records until I get it?
That's your call as don't know the age of the stylus. If it has never been replaced, I would.....The records are worth more than the replacement stylus....

Won't it start to sound bad before I starts messing up my records? So far every record I play has been perfect but one I ordered. I checked yesterday and other records don't skip.

Again that's your call....The new stylus is $17.

Saga~Behaviour

Nobody likes this album, I always have, I'm a big Saga fan....I also own the CD version, which is one of my better sounding CDs.
This is a German pressing by PolyGram Hannover.

I've heard quite a bit about skipping records, but it has never happened to me.

Sounds like you did well......Nothing this year was calling my name. The PT one was of interest but glad I did not, seems people are not happy with the packaging. I see it was pressed at Optimal, I'm hoping SW goes back to that as C/C was badly done by Takt. I've seen it for $100+ already....
Not into Gong and the Yes, I assume it was the live? Is that a bootleg??

Yeah, both Gong and Yes are official records by the bands. Very beautiful packaging. Poor packaging for the PT EP... with NO INNER SLEEVE.

This is from the Progeny - Seven Shows From Seventy-Two box set. I'm thinking of trying to get one of these. I've heard the CD set and it has some great live sound for that tour.

Lately this one has been hitting home more than when I first bought it in 2016....The LP is a wonderful sounding version. Pete's bass is very deep and bone jarring at times, H's vocals come across really nice....Really enjoying this one more though.
