Interactive P..: Two or three projects, one singer

While Mila's "Interactive Poll: It Takes Two!" is still going on with most not having voted yet, I decided to put up another kind of "it takes two" or "three" for nominations in the meantime -- especially for those of us who already voted. I don't see a conflict in a nomination round overlapping a voting round but I hope I am not thought of as stepping on toes. I can be too impulsive.

In this round, we think of two bands/ projects (or three) that each have a song sung by the same singer. That singer does not need to be a regular of the band. If thinking of two bands that have shared the same singer proves too hard, feel free to include a solo release of that singer. And consider a third bonus (might not be in the poll) if there are more than two projects with that singer involved in a song. I would like the bonus mentioned (from project not yet covered) if you have one.

So here are the guidelines for nomination:

1. Mention with youtube embeds if you can, otherwise links, or bandcamp links etc., two or three tracks by two or three projects with the same singer. Two at least will be nominated, but consider a bonus if there are three projects that you wish to represent.

2. You can post as many duos or trios as you like (and different artists), just plan to have your nominated duo or trio ready by, well, that I will say later. Maybe two weeks from now.

3. I would rather make this non-Prog, although if one of the three projects by the singer is Prog, that's fine, and it can go in the bonus category.

4. Please try to keep the entries on the shorter length side. Up to about seven minutes for a track might be okay, less is more ideal. That said, it's more of a cumulative thing, so if you have, say, one three minute and one nine minute track, that's fine. I want to be flexible while avoiding "epic length" ones.

For voting:

1. You will be expected to vote for three tracks total, none that you nominated, unless we include bonuses, and from the bonuses you can vote for one more (Mila inspired). Vote in the poll and mention your choices in a post. EDIT: Decided to go with voting for two bonus tracks (if that means voting on a poll option line twice, then so be it as I had to combine bonuses).

My singer is the wonderful Elizabeth Fraser, best known for her role in Cocteau Twins. I might change the Massive Attack one because it is so well-known and I have mentioned it before, but I love it (she is on more than one song on Mezzanine).

Hmm, with the previous poll I was initially a bit reluctant, but it turned out quite easy to find some duos... Here, I'm less sure if it will be that easy. Will see, but cannot guarantee to come up with something...

Hi Anders, good to hear from you. Your contributions are missed. I can relate to struggles with mental health. My son, who is 19 and currently living with me, is diagnosed with type 1 autism (formerly called Asperger's) along with ADHD, and struggles with social interaction. Finding tools and routines is important. I wish you the best and hope you can join us again in these polls.
