For anyone reading this in Australia, it already is Mostly Autumn. Tongue
Looking out of the window, it looks like it's Autumn here as well.

Well sort the weather out mate as I'm coming home for a few days next weekLOL
I'll see what I can do. I have a trip to Southend tomorrow so I'm hoping this Censored rain will stop then.

If I was there I'd challenge you to a game of crazy golf, if that excellent 36-hole course is still there....

I haven't been there for a while. There is one along the front that I've played in the past with my sons but I didn't think it had 36 holes.

For All We Shared together, Wild White Horses couldn't drag me away from Mostly Autumn for long, so I'm just briefly Coming Up For Air before I disappear off to Eastern Europe again. In celebration of Mostly Autumn's 25th anniversary, this is The Story So Far of the best Neo Prog band there never was! All of the band's various solo Offerings are included here too, many of which have mostly fallen Below the Radar. Smile

Passengers is almost certainly their most accessible album.
Then maybe try Heart Full of Sky

The Last Bright Light remains one of my favourites, Steve, but I tend to recommend Passengers and Storms because I think they are the most 'immediate' and accessible. Also tLBL is very difficult to get hold of in physical form now and the first three albums suffered from a muddy production which was rectified to a large degree by the 2CD rework 'Catch The Spirit' which I think is simply superb, but in turn is also hard to get hold of these days. I'd love to see them remaster and reissue their first three, but I wonder if there would be a sufficient market for them now... Ermm

Agree very much re the accessibility and I fear that, like you, there would be an insufficient market for remasters. I always thought that the band had huge commercial prospects, but it never panned out like that, even after the Richard Wright endorsement on Radio 2.

I'd recommend one of the live albums. That Night In Leamington and Live 2009 are both superb. I haven't heard the more recent ones but Back In These Arms has had very good reviews.
