Gotta be a million of them out there.
Ok, maybe a hundred.
One Video per post. Bands or solo artists.

I just started watching this one and am only 30minutes in but already I'm hearing some pretty honest evaluations from some serious prog gods.

Hi,

It really should not have been called a prog rock anything ... more of a special on YES and ELP ... by that time, the majority of prog rock was in Europe and America and not in England ... it just bothers me that too many of these things make it look like England invented the world.

I think this is the series that has 6 parts, and the 6th part is usually scrambled, because it has a lot of David Bowie in it talking a bout it, presumably.

It's good and nice, and you get to hear each one's opinions of everyone else ... and Rick appreciating BB is a tasty moment ... RW doesn't appreciate anyone except himself and his curry ... maybe his capes!
Music is not just for listening ... it is for LIVING ... you got to feel it to know what's it about! Not being told!

Thanks Paul.

My pleasure. That's one I made earlier, in true Blue Peter fashion. Tongue

Vinnie Jones - Here's one I made earlier.

To be honest, given Vinnie Jones past reputation for football hooliganism on the pitch and as a movie gangster, I thought he was going to kill him - not save his life. LOL

Thanks for posting........boy the critics really hated ELP. But the millions of fans loved them enough to sell 30-40 million records.
These documentary are great as you get a sense of what band members did not like or respect or appreciate others. I get a strong sense Bruford was not a Jon fan, due to him not being a trained musician and could not read music.

I found this to be really interesting. The information on the history of Triumvirat felt rather rare or obscure. Perhaps this history is readily available on the internet idk? The band has a strange history in spots. I really enjoyed the video! I remember Illusions On A Double Dimple
being released in the Fall of 74' and Spartacus in the Spring of 75'. I remember buying both albums upon their release. I remember seeing them on In Concert . Thanks for posting this!

Thanks, so much, for your response and interest! My history of Triumvirat was based mainly on an article called "The Triumvirat Biography", written by Russ Schenewerk, which was initially posted online in the mid 1990s on triumvirat.net, the official site for the band, which now, has unfortunately been static for quite some time. Despite that, if you google the name of the article, you will still find it  I did add some extra information that wasn't on this article, though, which I culled from other internet sources.
