Non-PA "Black" bands poll

I'm voting for Blackfoot, mainly because they once had Ken Hensley in their line-up. 

I forgot to include one of my favorite recent contempory bands, Black String. A mix of jazz, post rock, electronics, and traditional Korean instruments. Voting in at band I forget #3.

Black Oath

Missing bands:

I'll throw in 80's metal band Black 'N Blue.  I'll vote for Black Country Communion.  I also like Black Crowes, Black Label Society, and Black Stone Cherry from the list.

The best ones here for my taste were proposed by you in the interactive polls. Both Black String and Noir Desir (not yet listed) were great discoveries. I actually don't have that many Black artists in my collection; the only band that isn't listed or mentioned yet is called Black Buddha Saraband. Haven't listened to them for quite some time but their album is pretty good.

@Logan - I did mean The Black Angels, the U.S. psych rockers. I didn't know the Swiss band. I actually did name bands whose music I had heard before.

@suitkee - added Noir Dèsir to #4.

@TheGazzardian - Black Moth Super Rainbow and Black Country, New Road are in Prog Archives so were not included. However, there are two slots available (#2 and #5) so you can vote and claim a slot by posting here.

So, two slots up for grabs if there is a band you want to vote not listed.

Here's a once popular band though unlikely with prog listeners and I omitted, but if there is a fan among us ...
