I'm voting for Blackfoot, mainly because they once had Ken Hensley in their line-up.

Voted Band #1 I forgot - Black Flower - Belgian ethiojazz funk band.
Also voted Blackfoot for the sublime Good Morning, bought the Marauder album solely for that track, saw them live at Reading Rock Festival.

I forgot to include one of my favorite recent contempory bands, Black String. A mix of jazz, post rock, electronics, and traditional Korean instruments. Voting in at band I forget #3.

I can honestly say I've never heard of any of those bands. Are you sure you haven't just made them all up?

If "Black" may be in an other language, I'd vote "Band I forgot #4": Noir Désir Noir Désir - The Wound: |

I'll throw in 80's metal band Black 'N Blue. I'll vote for Black Country Communion. I also like Black Crowes, Black Label Society, and Black Stone Cherry from the list.

I'm guessing by Black Angels you mean the Swiss (cheesy?) hard rock/ heavy metal band, but if you mean The Black Angels from the US, which is a Neo-Psych Rock group, then that would get my vote.
I will give a vote to Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. There are a number of Black "others" that I like music from: The Black Watch: Black Cab: Also The Black Sun Ensemble, Black Devil Disco Club has got a few mentions in topics from me before at this site, Black Moth Super Rainbow I rather expected to see.... The best ones here for my taste were proposed by you in the interactive polls. Both Black String and Noir Desir (not yet listed) were great discoveries. I actually don't have that many Black artists in my collection; the only band that isn't listed or mentioned yet is called Black Buddha Saraband. Haven't listened to them for quite some time but their album is pretty good.

@Logan - I did mean The Black Angels, the U.S. psych rockers. I didn't know the Swiss band. I actually did name bands whose music I had heard before.
@suitkee - added Noir Dèsir to #4. @TheGazzardian - Black Moth Super Rainbow and Black Country, New Road are in Prog Archives so were not included. However, there are two slots available (#2 and #5) so you can vote and claim a slot by posting here. So, two slots up for grabs if there is a band you want to vote not listed. Here's a once popular band though unlikely with prog listeners and I omitted, but if there is a fan among us ... |

∆ I'd assumed you'd heard all. Of the ones I listed, for just one, then I'd like you to put up The Black Watch over Black Cab. And I gave a vote to The Black Angels.
Thanks for clarifying. |

Any nostalgia for 90s alt rock?
A couple of bands that got some radio airplay in U.S. for just one song. Bargain bin CD purchases. Blackmarket Flowers - Kenny and Cleo Black Lab - Wash It Away |
