You've mentioned three of my favourite Space Rock bands from the universal list above (which I'm still adding to). Ash Ra Tempel's year 2000 album with Klaus Sculze is well-worth a listen too if you haven't already heard it, in the spirit of Friendship. Coming up next are an exceptional out-of-this-world Greek band going by the name of "Aries" - to Ram the message home.

many of the German artists had travelled the so called "Hippie Trail" & made the pilgrimage Eastward. the deep German fascination with Eastern culture & thought, coupled with Western experimentation created a most unique collection of sonic experimentations. Fifteen years ago, I was still listening to Hawkwind, believing they were the only Space Rock band in existence, but I've travelled a long way across the galaxy since then and discovered there's a whole new universe of Space Rock out there, just waiting to be explored and unearthed.
