Finally got around to buying Nick Drake's Pink Moon, several decades after getting Five Leaves Left and Bryter Later. After giving it a few run throughs, it is pleasant enough, but not on the same level as his first 2 releases. You can tell he was suffering and it led to a sparsity in both the lyrics and arrangements. Still much prefer Five Leaves Left as his best album.

A tiny little picture just won't do for this one!

I only have five leaves and pink moon at the moment. Five Leaves I played once but don't remember much about it. With Pink Moon I think that might be one of the most overrated albums on rateyourmusic and the internet. Not bad but kind of so-so and not much really stood out except for one or two good tracks. Just somewhat uninspired folky type of stuff. It could very well be like what you said. I know he became seriously depressed and eventually killed himself. I had a cousin who had cancer who took his life too which is a very sad thing. Anyway, I still plan on getting Bryter Later at some point anyway regardless so thanks for the review.
