Hi,
A lot of the Greek material that PP posted on the other thread. There is a lot of far out stuff, some weird stuff, and some poor stuff, but in general, the list is really fine and worth a listen. Make sure you get as much of an album as you can, as there are many fine things. The only thing that is interesting to me, is how so much of it has lost what I would consider the taste of the Greek culture, as so many of the things listed have a lot more in common with commercial music, than they do the individuality that we originally saw in Aphrodite's Child and the like, which had a lot of bits and pieces of Greek arts in them, even going as far as the ZORBA soundtrack way back when, which was really neat and far out, although a lot of that music was considered "traditional". Good stuff all around, though the only thought and suggestion I have is that those folks would spend less time listening to everyone else, in order to create something more original on their own. Instead too much of it is very "commercial" rather than interesting. Still, a lot of great stuff ... and if you have not heard that MACBETH soundtrack, you are missing a heck of a treat! I keep wondering how the RSC and the NT missed the boat with something like that!

Music is not just for listening ... it is for LIVING ... you got to feel it to know what's it about! Not being told!
