I'm still waiting for the Waters and Kanye collaboration. The album should be out very soon.

I dig The Pros and Cons of Hitchhiking.  Clapton shines when his guitar is powered by a superior composer.

It looks like a tentative 'no' to a final Pink Floyd reunion.

He's on a roll.....definition of 'the rantings of a raving lunatic/curmudgeon/old fart head...'

“I wrote The Dark Side of the Moon. Let’s get rid of all this ‘we’ crap!” Waters declared during an interview with The Telegraph. “Of course we were a band, there were four of us, we all contributed – but it’s my project and I wrote it. So… blah!”

Who wants to hear DSOTM without Gilmour? Not me.

Yeah Waters wrote all that feel & tone that Wright and Gilmour bring to the table. I hear that in all his solo albums.Wacko

Roger Waters croaks instead of sings. Sorry, Rog, DSotM won't be the same without Gilmour's guitar, Richard Wright's keys, and Richard, David and Clare Torry's vocals.

Stop, just stop. Time for Roger to take up residence at the Fletcher Memorial Home for Aging Megalomaniacs. Get him some Depends and a drool cup, this dude is done.

I'm surprised he didn't declare, 'no album autographs', to the members of the UN General Assembly.

It's totally amazing he actually spoke there. ShockedShocked
I mean how many times did artistes do that? (U2's Bono, maybe)
And it's not going to deflate Rog The Rogue's oversized ego. LOL

keep our sand-castle virtues
content to be a doer

I'm not interested either in a new recording of DSOTM, it will never beat the genuine.
I don't know if it's true but it is said that Roger did not even play all the bass parts in the album, that Gilmour played some of them because Roger could not play well enough.

Of course the west isn't holy, but calling the invasion of Ukraine "provoked" is just undefendably idiotic. His comments on Taiwan are also completely ignorant as he apparentely thinks most of the world is in agreement that it's just a part of China. That said, I don't think he's a fascist or a neo-nazi, but like many 79-year olds, he's just too stupid to be allowed to read things on the internet.

Despite that, I think his comments on re-recording DSOTM might be the dumbest sh*t he's ever uttered. Yeah, we get it, you were the main songwriter in the band during their commercial peak, but talking sh*t about Wright and Gilmour when you yourself had nothing to do with Us and Them, Breathe and Great Gig is just idiotic arrogance. I don't think any person who's behind a piece of garbage like The Final Cut really has any right to speak like this, to be honest. Doing new vocal parts on previously instrumental DSOTM tracks...good god, Roger.
