Paul, I've been thinking about this matter before, but now, beginning with your consideration about Germany's success
as Prog nation, I've got a very good idea for a thread about Germany and Italy, and maybe another thread about USA. Tongue
That's very prog-nostic of you as I've barely listened to any Italian prog at all. Embarrassed

Yes, but the basis for the new thread(s) will be the top lists I've made. So, I mention you only as inspiration. Smile
Well, I thought I'd better reply anyway, seeing as you gave me a name-check. Smile

I've prepared a thread about reasons for Germany's and Italy's less success in post-70's Prog, but I guess that it's
a too difficult topic.

It was not possible for me to post the last four days, but it seems to be okay again, so I can comment this post of yours, and vote in some of your last polls.

My new thread, The Best Progressive Rock Band of The '60s? , has been a very good experience.

Paul, I'll think about which of your threads I'd like to recommend here in this blog of mine, and I might even make
a little section for your threads. Smile

A couple of threads about Rock in the '60s, and it was interesting to dig deeper in that decade.

We got so much overlap, that I'll list the albums that I don't know/love/ or own.

Clearlight (F) - Clearlight Symphony (1975)
 Ange (F) - Au-dela du Delire (1974)

That's it.  I'm not familiar with these two. I'll listen to them this weekend on Youtube.

That's quite incredible, Cindy, and I even guess, I've never seen such overlap before - which makes me really glad.

Then, I can't imagine otherwise than these two albums will be at least a nice new acquaintance for you. Anyway, they're some of the pearls of French Progressive Rock all-time.

Thank you very much for this reply of yours! Smile

If I started a fave Danish Prog thread, it would be at most top 5, but more probably top 3. LOL
