^ It looks like Jerome Froese was having a bad hair day when that picture was taken. Either that, or he's just emerged from a wind tunnel. Tongue

She chose decidedly different garb for the show I saw. Wink

Not that I'm complaining. I like a woman in uniform. Big smile

3 stars 1994: Turn of the Tides - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LeFQHH4SfyY

Turn of the Tides is Tangerine Dream's 22nd studio album and their 49th album overall (not counting the previous DVD/Video release: Three Phase). This album really does represent a Turn of the Tides too, as it's the beginning of a new era for Tangerine Dream, having now evolved from a duo into a quartet of Edgar & Jerome Froese, sexy saxophonist Linda Spa & guitarist Zlatko Perico, although he only appeared on this one studio album. The versatile and lovely Linda Spa would become a permanent fixture in Tangerine Dream's touring line-up, playing keyboards, saxophone, flute & clarinet, and she's also a semi-conductor too! Tongue

Track Listing:-

1."Pictures at an Exhibition"3:01
2."Firetongues"6:32
3."Galley Slave's Horizon"7:47
4."Death of a Nightingale"5:30
5."Twilight Brigade"9:45
6."Jungle Journey"6:34
7."Midwinter Night"4:38
8."Turn of the Tides"7:40

4 stars 1994: Catch Me If You Can (soundtrack, recorded in 1989) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2J9SgGKvVps

Catch Me If You Can is Tangerine Dream's 19th soundtrack and their 50th album overall, recorded back in 1989 by the Edgar Froese & Paul Haslinger duo. The movie is a little-known, teen high school comedy and bears no relation to the later true life crime caper of the same name starring Leonardo Dicaprio & Tom Hanks.

When Tangerine Dream again becomes a trio a couple years later, she's one-third!

4 stars 1995: Tyranny of Beauty - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IytQYys9Sa0

Do you wanna dance? If you think you can't dance to the music of Tangerine Dream then you haven't heard Tyranny of Beauty - their 23rd studio album and 51st album overall. This album is worth buying just for the outstanding re-recording of "Stratosfear" alone and also includes the well-known classical piece "Largo" too. Can you Handel it? Tangerine are back to a trio again for this album with Edgar Froese, Jerome Froese and Linda Spa bringing Tangerine Dream bang up to date with some catchy dance-beats for a new generation of fans.  Smile

The stratospheric video below features the 5-piece touring line-up of Edgar Froese, Jerome Froese, Linda Spa, Iris Camaa and the sensational Bernhard Beibl on electric guitar! Thumbs Up

Track Listing:-

 1. Catwalk   7:19
 2. Birdwatcher's Dream    6:52
 3. Little Blonde in the Park of Attractions   6:57
 4. Living in a Fountain Pen    6:59
 5. Stratosfear 1995   5:08
 6. Bride in Cold Tears   4:53
 7. Haze of Fame    8:30
 8. Tyranny of Beauty   6:35
 9. Largo   4:12
10. Quasar   3:43

3 stars 1995: The Dream Mixes - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5dHOPnS3PcE

The Dream Mixes is Tangerine Dream's 52nd album and their first remix album. Following on from the previous album of danceable tunes, this is the first of five remix albums put together by Jerome Froese. These infectious dance rhythms are enough to give you night fever, so come on you Saturday night ravers and disco divas and get down on it for some catchy four-on-the-floor dancebeats in this disco inferno. Could it be magic? No, but it'll certainly get your feet tapping. Smile

4 stars 1996: Zoning (soundtrack, recorded in 1986)

Zoning is Tangerine Dream's 20th soundtrack and their 53rd album overall. This soundtrack album is one of the long-forgotten gems from the TD archives, most notable now for being an entirely solo work by Edgar Froese back in 1986. Thumbs Up

The best track on Tyranny of Beauty: "Bride in Cold Tears."

The best track on The Dream Mixes: N/A

Zoning is a fine score. Yes, it's Edgar solo — from the '80s, to boot! Clap

I've forgotten all of the tracks on The Dream Mixes album already. They just melded together into one long track. Embarrassed

^Goblins' Club took a long time for me to fully appreciate, and it's really all about the last three tracks, but it's arguably TD's best studio album of the '90s.

No, but I hear Doris Day once had a Secret Love who's no secret any more. Wink

4 stars 1997: Oasis (soundtrack) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TsOzcZ9xzKs&t=130s

Oasis is Tangerine Dream's 21st soundtrack and their 55th album overall. Oasis represents an ocean of calm in a troubled world, unlike the Gallagher brothers, who represent a whole world of trouble. Tongue

3 stars 1997: Tournado: Live in Europe - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8SOScQaK3Fc&t=661s

Tournado is Tangerine Dream's 8th Live album and their 56th album overall. Tournado  was recorded in Poland during their 1997 European tour. Unlike previous Tangerine Dream Live recordings, this album doesn't include any new compositions. Tournado represents a wind of change for Tangerine Dream with Linda Spa having just left the band, the album features Edgar & Jerome Froese with Zlatko Perica on guitar. Tournado ultimately fails to whip up a storm of enthusiasm from me, especially when compared with Tangerine Dream's previous superb Live albums featuring all new material, nor does it compare well with some of the later Live shows with Linda Spa, Iris Camaa (drums & percussion) & Bernhard Beibl on guitar. Here's a brief list of some of the outstanding Live performances coming up in the 21st century:-

Live at the Tempodrome, Berlin (2006)
Orange Odyseey: Live from Lorelei (2007)
The London Eye Concert (2008)
Rocking Out the Bats, Spandau, Berlin (2009)
The Electric Mandarine Tour (2012)
