Happy international strange music day everyone!!
''We celebrate International Strange Music Day on August 24. This is a day for all the music lovers who have a soft corner for the unique and bizarre, especially when it comes to music and songs. International Strange Music Day also encourages the rest of us to switch up our regular playlist for something eccentric and unusual. Of course, ‘strange’ doesn’t mean that you have to listen to something that doesn’t please you — you could also listen to new genres of music, artists, and even music in different languages. The choice is entirely yours! The ultimate aim of International Strange Music Day is to expand our taste in music.''

go on, pick one bit of 'strange' music for the day (or any day), certainly doesnt have to be 'Prog' or even related, maybe just entirely and subjectively 'strange' to you.. or an artist whose strangeness you find appealing..

i'm going to choose the bizarre Scat-vocal style of William 'Shooby' Taylor AKA 'The Human Horn'

Yeah sounds kinda creepy.. i just cut and paste the info from a website that flags up 'international whatever days'.. apparently it was also 'International Waffle day' yesterday too.. the kind you eat though i'm sure the verbiage type would appeal to many here too.
