Great drummer and all around good guy. From his work with The Edgar Broughton band to his fine work with Roy Harper. Steve was also a multi instrumental who was accomplished on guitar and keyboard as well. RIP.

Hi,
Not known to be a major drummer anywhere and no one will Confucious him with anyone else, but he is in a lot of far out things, and specially things out in left field somewhere. He really helped a lot of these things shine, and is always a special treat hearing him on any Roy Harper album ... and while no one ever knew that, it was his drums in several of Mike Oldfield's Tubular Bells versions. I think Mike knew him from the early days with Kevin Ayers and/or the very early HARVEST breakfast days. Steve Broughton Band Roy Harper - Lifemask Mike Oldfield - Tubular Bells Roy Harper - HQ Roy Harper - Bullinamingvase The Radio Actors - Nuclear Waste) Roy Harper - The Unknown Soldier Mother Gong - Robot Woman Na Kommer Den - Alle Tiders Duster Psychic TV - Dreams Less Sweet Ron Kavana - Rollin' & Coastin' Roy Harper & Jimmy Page - Jugula +4 Magic Muscle - Gulp! Tom Newman & Friends Nasher - Ripe Ice Plug RIP and a tip of the hat and a comforting hug to Edgar ... who worked with him in so many albums on their band, and how special many of those albums were!
