Well is anyone else here who's also a member on The Rush Forum suddenly not able to get the website to load today?
Porg for short. My love of music doesn't end with prog! Feel free to discuss all sorts of music with me. Odds are I'll give it a chance if I haven't already! :)

Rats!

After putting all of my CDs and albums in a database, I discovered I'm missing A Farewell To Kings.

That's embarrassing for an old skool Rush fan. Wink

Me! It looks like I'll have to re-set my password  or something. Maybe I won't though since I'm kind of bored with that place anyway.

There's a small but dedicated community of posters that keep the conversations going and the place running over there. I'm one of them. Sadly right now the board having a hard time updating to the latest internet security standards and new format and everything, so it's been periodically on and off for a couple weeks or so. It was actually back up and running for a few hours earlier tonight but as of a few minutes ago I can't seem to get back in.

EDIT: never mind it seems to me like I caught the board right as it was fixing a small issue with poll voting

I wonder what your issue was. I don't remember having any trouble signing up whatsoever. Someone as big of a Rush fan as you should definitely be on there but that's just my opinion. Wink

Have any of you checked out the Envy of None release?  I think that it is enjoyable enough, but if I didn't know Alex was playing guitar on it I wouldn't know that he was playing guitar on it.

Not my bag. I'm glad Alex is doing something, but what I've heard sounds really "90s"!

Have any fans tried the Rush Golden Ale or the Rush Moving Pitchers strong ale? Are they only available in Ontario?

I really do not need another forum to remember to go to, PA can be a PITA sometimes but I keep coming back as I've been here awhile. SHF is my other main site for music discussions, and there are some long Rush threads to read and participate in on occasion, there is one called Rush Album By Album, Song by Song that is about 500 pages long. Shocked
As well there are like 812,000 open threads on the Beatles, for those of you that like that krapp, it's a veritable on going Beatles circle jerk in those threads LOL Thumbs Down

I think I'm good.....

FOUND IT! CD is still MIA, but I found my old vinyl of A Farewell to Kings.

Think it rates a good play for a Thursday night.

Ok. Well, I think you can still read the posts on TRF even if you aren't a member. They changed the site so now it could be easier to join (or not). However, if you aren't interested, you aren't interested. You can lead a horse to water........;)
