It kind of holds a special place for me... around the mid to late 90's, I'd got to the point of believing that 'good music' wasn't being made any more... Rush were bringing something out every 5 years, Marillion's output was declining in quality (to my ears) and with the notable exception of 'Talk', it's not advisable to discuss Yes... then I came across a small magazine (this was before the Internet) which recommended this, among a couple of others. I got it mail-order and things picked up considerably from thereon!

Pop Genesis is underrated Smile
Take me down, to the underground
Won't you take me down, to the underground
Why oh why, there is no light
And if I can't sleep, can you hold my life

I wouldn't say that. For me pop Genesis starts with Abacab. There are still quite a few songs post 1981 that I still like.

I agree Duke has some weak songs but has still some progressive edges

Yes, it remains one of those secretly guilty pleasures really.... I know it's a bit poppy, but with the exception of a couple of weak tracks and the truly awful 'Misunderstanding', it's still rather swish..

Dig me...But don't...Bury me
I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive
Warning: Listening to jazz excessively can cause a laxative effect.
