I wonder what your issue was. I don't remember having any trouble signing up whatsoever. Someone as big of a Rush fan as you should definitely be on there but that's just my opinion.

Porg for short. My love of music doesn't end with prog! Feel free to discuss all sorts of music with me. Odds are I'll give it a chance if I haven't already! :)

There's a small but dedicated community of posters that keep the conversations going and the place running over there. I'm one of them. Sadly right now the board having a hard time updating to the latest internet security standards and new format and everything, so it's been periodically on and off for a couple weeks or so. It was actually back up and running for a few hours earlier tonight but as of a few minutes ago I can't seem to get back in. EDIT: never mind it seems to me like I caught the board right as it was fixing a small issue with poll voting

Me! It looks like I'll have to re-set my password or something. Maybe I won't though since I'm kind of bored with that place anyway.

Rats! After putting all of my CDs and albums in a database, I discovered I'm missing A Farewell To Kings. That's embarrassing for an old skool Rush fan. |

There might have been things I missed
But don't be unkind It don't mean I'm blind |

What do you think about the Moving Pictures "visualizers" the band has been posting on YouTube?
Here's an example: https://youtu.be/9o4AQe4BJr0 |

^Those were great. Mehldau's widely known as a gifted pianist, but he actually sticks to the songs' ideas instead of churning out a bunch of jazzy vamps. Quite melodic.

As a follow-up to my above post: I'm listening now to Brad Mehldau's new album Jacob's Ladder (yes, indeed!), and what a fantastic gem this is, mixing classical, jazz and prog rock in a highly original and very musical way. Check it out. It has more Rush reworkings on it... Edited by suitkees - April 10 2022 at 03:11 |

This came by on the radio yesterday. Maybe not for everyone, but I like it and I guess some of you will too. Shows that Rush continues to inspire, also beyond rock boundaries... Brad Mehldau - maybe as his skies are wide: |

There's worse sh*t than that, e.g. One Direction and Kanye.
