Roxette and Europe may be more popular and better-known, but I'm pretty sure Anekdoten are more highly regarded amongst prog fans. Smile

LOL
again you said Anekdoten is third best export after ABBA and Volvo. I disagree. LOL You forgot about IKEA. LOL

I wasn't being entirely serious when I said Anekdoten are Sweden's third biggest export, behind ABBA & Volvo.... There's also Saab. Wink

OK, anyway, good to see you are giving Anekdoten a chance, better late than never I guess. Geek
As promised, I'm planning to check out all the albums in these Modern Prog polls, so today it's Anekdoten, and tomorrow Anglagard, neither of which I've ever heard before. Embarrassed

At least we can agree on Anekdoten being Sweden's second best musical export. Smile

Anekdoten are Sweden's third best export: after ABBA & Volvo. Smile

that would be awesome but I don't think so.

There is Europe and then Roxette (not anymore as the lead singer has sadly passed away).

Flower Kings...Wobbler...Transatlantic,  though to be honest I don't play the 10 or so I own from that list since the later ones by the bands are far  better.

I probably should go for Marillion here, given it's enormity of importance, but it's got lots of votes, so again, Transatlantic...

Pallas out of all these, with TFK, Transatlantic, Marillion and Spock's Beard following closely.

Script for a Jester's Tear, just ahead of Triskaidekaphobie. I'm not a great fan of neo prog, but I do enjoy a bit of Fish era Marillion.

Totally agree!  I remember going to a double bill at Nottingham's Rock City - Pallas and Pendragon.  Great night!
