I took a different approach to 2013 than 2012. Rather than looking on my iPod, I had a look at the top 250 albums on PA. I own 28 of the top 100 (or 53 of the top 250), which makes me think 2013 was an even “better” year for prog for me than 2012 was. Especially considering it is often the case that some of my favourite albums from any year do not appear in the PA top 100 for that year, and that the top 100 does not include prog related albums. In this case, that means one of my favourite albums from 2013 (Bowie’s “The Next Day”) is on PA, but does not appear on the top 100.

This doesn’t prove you wrong, as 2013 might still not have been a strong year for you, but at first glance, it looks pretty strong for me!
