^ The video put up by JD worked at first, but not anymore. I guess the copyright management of SNL is trying to prevent every free access to their content, even when they say they want to support this or that community/country... Money prevails!

That may be it, folks, sorry!  Anyway, an admin can take those down if they want.  Or perhaps leave them up as discourse of what Kees had to say.  Cry

I will likely do a couple more, my first one wasn't meant to be in competition, anyway, just thought it was apt.  I am trying to capture my feelings in the moment for this one, so they will likely be spread apart a bit.

First up, then, is There Was A Man, by Pearls Before Swine, from "Balaklava," 1968.

If this is how you feel, this absolutely fits the poll! Whatever variety shouldn't be artificial and forced.

Very nice theme. Unfortunately I am still to vote in the previous poll, and the current political situation is taking its toll on me. I'm not sure if I have the strength to participate here. Or alternately, I will make a decision once I've voted in the other one.

My thoughts are with everyone in the EU and surrounding areas. As a citizen of one of the other founding countries of NATO...we've got your back !

Everyone should know this one but I heard it yesterday and had to post it.....it says it all.

Father, father
We don't need to escalate
You see, war is not the answer
For only love can conquer hate
You know we've got to find a way
To bring some lovin' here today
One does nothing yet nothing is left undone.

Ok, so right now I can smell the ribs I've got cooking in the oven all the way down stairs in my office. And I gotta say, this is...

I believe Art Zoyd's later (post 1990) work isn't that well known. Something dark and threatening in the air, and starts to take shape...

Hey Logan so good to see you

My go to song has always been Breath in the Air. I was so happy when they reunited for this partial last version live!

I'm sorry, if you were right, I'd agree with you. Robin Williams.

In the news where I live, there are currently three disasters: the COVID-19 pandemic, the Russian invasion of Ukraine, and the flooding of southeast Queensland and northeast New South Wales. The following three tracks are somewhat related to these three current disasters:

Peter Hammill - Porton Down

Van der Graaf Generator - Emperor In His War-Room: The Emperor/The Room

Van der Graaf Generator - After The Flood

No, I know how to behave in the restaurant now, I don't tear at the meat with my hands. If I've become a man of the world somehow, that's not necessarily to say I'm a worldly man.

Alternative to the above three tracks:

10cc - You've Got A Cold

Alice In Chains - Rooster

Godley & Creme - The Flood

No, I know how to behave in the restaurant now, I don't tear at the meat with my hands. If I've become a man of the world somehow, that's not necessarily to say I'm a worldly man.

I think some are forgetting the theme is 'Feelings or Emotions in the moment' How are you today? At least that's what I thought.
@I prophesy disaster says "The following three tracks are somewhat related to these three current disasters" but doesn't say how he's feeling. @Cristi posts a video but says nothing. I was expecting a little more. Am I wrong?
