Top 7 means you rank 7 albums. Ranking the whole discography means you rank all their albums. So there is a difference.

Yes, it would be a difference if forum users rank entire Camel's discography. So far I don't see that.
Let's open another list and call it Top 10 Camel's albums. It's different, not redundant. We are going to rank 10 albums, instead of 7. |

Top 7 thread was created 2 years ago. Top 7 Camel albums list is easy to make, their whole discography though a little bit more difficult. That's the difference between the two threads. I don't mind them both existing. Now if someone made a Top 10 Camel album thread today, yes, it would be redundant. If someone made it in a few months from now, I say it's not. These two threads already existing would be around only if resurrected I guess (which happens). Otherwise they'd be lost on older pages of Top 10 list section of the forum. Edit: I spoke too soon, some made a Top 10 Camel. You jinxed it, or that thread was a joke reaction to your post. I stand corrected.

I think, it would be interesting to hear your opinion about the point of it, Supermetro.

It looks like there are some very on-bsessive fanboys here - not just about Triumvirat. Tops: (no order) Mirage, Debut, Moonmadness a few rungs below: (no order) Goose, Nude, Harbour, Rajaz, Wink, another couple of rung below (no order) Traveller, Breathless, Raindances, Dust, Traveller not even on scale (no order) House, No Redeeming Factor . |

The Camel albums I've heard... hm..
Well a long long time ago I heard the debut a couple times. Thought it was pretty great. Then I got Moonmadness, which isn't terribly special to me. Some sick passages, some boring ones, very little to write home about in the vocal department either. Then I got The Snow Goose, and it was magical. A far superior listen to Moonmadness for sure. So I'd go The Snow Goose Camel Moonmadness

Porg for short. My love of music doesn't end with prog! Feel free to discuss all sorts of music with me. Odds are I'll give it a chance if I haven't already! :)
