I just have to get this off my chest.

Over the last three weeks of work, I reported about 8 extra hours a week onto my timecard.  They never checked up on it.  I ended up getting about $150 that I wasn't entitled to.

I am an awful, awful man.

It sounds like they pay you sh*t. Perhaps they deserve it. Be careful though. It seems to me your luck may run out if you keep reporting 8 hrs more each week.

Yeah, the pay is awful, the job is worse.  I quit last week, I'd had enough.

I once quit a job and the company continued to send me paychecks through the mail every other week. I went ahead and paid off my high interest fees(in other words...credit cards). I nearly had them paid off when the company found out. Still,it was worth it. I had to pay the company back, but at no interest.

Well, good luck in finding a better one. I don't know what the standard of living is down there, but $10,000/yr these days just doesn't cut it. Especially if you're going to support that prog habit of yours.

Cut that hair of yours(you hippie), go to the gay bars and find yourself a rich man.

when I first read the title of this thread, I thought you had swindled an 8 year old out of their pocket money!

seriously though, I hope you find a cool job soon.  If you don't, why not consider working in a Youth Hostel?  The pay may be crap, but the job's great fun!

Well if we're 'fessing up to minor crimes here, may I admit that  after work yesterday, I used the girl's toilet instead of the men's.

Did you go into the wrong one by accident? Or did you do it for the thrill?
