2. You're right. I don't think "Kayleigh" is a bad song either, but when I heard it played to death constantly on the radio back in the mid-80's, it didn't just turn me against the song, it turned me against the band too. Confused 
3. I'm not sure why my reply makes no sense to you when I'd never listened to any Marllion albums until just a few days ago. Wacko

^ I think you'll be pleased with my Marillion ratings, considering that out of the 28 Marillion albums I've listened to so far, I've given five exceptionally good albums the full 5-star treatment. Thumbs Up

You may think I have a Misplaced low rating for one particular Marillion album though. Wink

It may please you to hear that I've changed my list of UK Prog classics by including Renaissance  -  Renaissance  (1969), as I'm very fond of this album. But I know that the band members making it were entirely different than on their following albums (except from # two), many of which you apparently like very much.

Something else, and which doesn't have anything to do with Marillion either, I'm curious about you way of rating albums. Which criteria do you use for that purpose?
                      quality over quantity, and all kind of PopcoRn almost beyond

5 stars An essential album that I'd be prepared to order specially.
4 stars A very good album that I'd buy off the shelf in a record store.
3 stars A good album, but I'd only buy it a bargain basement price.
2 stars A poor album that I'd never want to hear again, even if it was given away free.
 Absolutely dreadful!

But how many stars to give, is it just how much you like it, or you look at some specific criterias?
