18, but not for very long now. As for those three you mentioned:
Yes - plenty of classic material. Love 'em.
ELP - smatterings of brilliance amongst the sh*te.
Genesis - ...just don't talk to me about Genesis. Yuck.

I'm 20. Was into ELP first, then YES then Genesis...Have to say, I
can't choose a favorite...I'm in a big ELP phase at the minute, thanks
to that dvd. It had been a while since I listened to them. Think I
listened to Genesis and Caravan for about 6 months there, with some
pretty things and gentle giant thrown in...Although today i'm listening
to YES

I am 16. The first prog band i heard was Genesis with Gabriel, and soon I fell in love with their music.
Other bands I like very much are VDGG, GG, IQ, Arena, Glass Hammer, early Marillion. My favourite type of music is symphonic prog.

I'm 24. Out of the Big 5 I like King Crimson the most and ELP the least, which is not to say I find the latter a bad band - they could be brilliant at times.
I don't really hate any type of music, although I find a lot of it annoying. What I do hate intensly, though, is the big music business and the narrow-minded tastes it caters to.

I love ELP,Yes and Genesis. Indeed, I love all of the seventies progressive music and most of the so-called neo-progressive material.
Perhaps some people label things progressive in order to discuss them on a progressive web site (?). I must admit I often find it hard to draw a distinction between heavy rock and progressive rock. In the seventies they were very closely linked and I liked both (and still do like both). For example, ELP are a keyboard dominated group, but Living Sin and others are full-on heavy rock tracks.
I am old, but I am reassured by the fact that young peope like traditional progressive rock music from groups such as ELP.
