I'd like to figure out what PA's favorite band is with some degree of certainty. I have a feeling it's Genesis, but who knows, it could be someone else. Anyway please list your top 5 favorite artists in order of preference, and I'll try to keep track of who gets the most points. Your number 1 will get 5 points, number 2 will get 4, number 3 will get 3, number 4 will get 2, and number 5 will get 1. Easy!
Here's mine: 1. Queen 2. Rush 3. Muse 4. Genesis 5. David Bowie

Porg for short. My love of music doesn't end with prog! Feel free to discuss all sorts of music with me. Odds are I'll give it a chance if I haven't already! :)

Van der Graaf Generator
As for the remaining four artists, it's impossible for me to say because I operate at the album level rather than the artist level. In other words, none of the criteria which I might use to choose favourite artists seem appropriate to me. |

No, I know how to behave in the restaurant now, I don't tear at the meat with my hands. If I've become a man of the world somehow, that's not necessarily to say I'm a worldly man.

In alphabetical order, non-prog included:
Black Sabbath The Fall Pink Floyd Sielun Veljet (Finnish 80s post-punk) Van Der Graaf Generator If non-prog/related (The Fall and SV) were left out, I'd add: Captain Beefheart Jethro Tull If non-prog only, I'd add Sonic Youth and a couple of Finnish bands no foreigners know about. |
