not bad, but nothing special.
It's probably another charity shop bargain bin album then. Smile

it's cute that you think you can find Jane albums in bargain bins.

Listening right now to Werner Nadolny's Jane - 2011 - Eternity. This one is pretty good.

You're right. In reality, there's absolutely no chance of me ever finding a rare Jane album in a charity shop, or any other shop, come to think of it. By pure coincidence, I'm listening to Jane's 1982 Germania album right now, so I'll post the rating and album link later on today. Smile

^ no way is that a 3 star album. If that were the case, their 70s work is 7 stars or something. LOL

On Jane...I like stuff from the first 5 or 6 lp's...still seem to like the first- 'Together' -the best...though I also like Fire...and Heaven..... I have them on cd ,and Jane3 and Lady  on original vinyl.
I have seen the first 4 lp's in a shop in the past in my area ( I live south of Chicago) and in Indianapolis in several places. Both are large cities so I often find a nice selection of old things to buy. One of the shops in Indy used to specialize in old prog and psych vinyl.
One does nothing yet nothing is left undone.

I wasn't expecting you to agree with my 3-star rating, so no surprise there again. I actually liked Germania marginally better than the previous (Mask) album, so it's well-deserving of a 3-star rating, at least in my opinion  anyway, for what it's worth - which isn't much. It's just as well we're not allowed to hand out 7-star ratings though, or I would've given all of Mostly Autumn's albums a 7-star rating. Tongue

You misunderstood my lame joke. Ouch
You thought the album was good?! I thought it was unlistenable.
Next one is their pop album from 1986. I wouldn't be surprised if you like that one. I didn't like it. Not because it's pop, but because i find it corny and cheesy.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if I like Jane's 1986 Pop album too. After all, you already know that "Follow You, Follow Me" and "Your Own Special Way" are my two favourite post-Gabriel Genesis songs, which is against all odds. Tongue

Your record stores in The States are much better than ours. Many of our record stores are under-stocked and over-priced, especially in the case of HMV. Confused

Worse than both IMO. I like Follow You, Follow Me and I tolerate Your Own Special Way.

Love Me or Leave Me

This outstanding album marks a Genuine return to form, from a band that's had more comebacks than a boomerang. Tongue

Yes, I gave Peter Panka's Live at Meta's album a well-deserved 5-star rating because it's the best album since Jane's clasisic Live at Home in my opinion. I'd be surprised and a little worried if you agreed with any of my ratings for once, so I'm glad you're remaining true to form. Smile
