Share a song, and a part from its lyrics as befitting the subject/title of the thread.

"Mysterious times
No trick of the mind
For this moment I feel like we live in mysterious times
If you see what's behind
These are mysterious times"

Peter Hammill - Stranger Still

No, I know how to behave in the restaurant now, I don't tear at the meat with my hands. If I've become a man of the world somehow, that's not necessarily to say I'm a worldly man.

For those who feel lied to by the powers that be:

Peter Hammill - Hemlock

No, I know how to behave in the restaurant now, I don't tear at the meat with my hands. If I've become a man of the world somehow, that's not necessarily to say I'm a worldly man.

dang, that animation is incredible

Shadow Of A Lonely Man - The Alan Parsons Project

And for all the acclaim, I am all alone
And I see as I look through the door
The shadow of a lonely man, there's nobody else
In the shadow of a lonely, lonely man
I can see myself

-Will I see you tonight?
-I never make plans that far ahead.

One particular song that breaks my heart is "Phantom Of The Night" by Kayak. The song affects my emotions because I lost my best friend at sea. He slipped off an icy deck and fell into the Atlantic Ocean in the middle of January. The water was so cold he probably died as soon as he plunged into the ocean. So "Phantom Of The Night" cuts deep and brings back memories of my friend and his tragic death. This is just an example of how a song can connect to your life...

Agalloch - A Desolation Song
Dig me...But don't...Bury me
I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive
Warning: Listening to jazz excessively can cause a laxative effect.

"Darkness calls me, beckoning me
I defy the night and I conjure light
Out beyond the shadow, I strain to see
To the other side, to the other me"
