My Most Listend Band on Spotify - Chvrches

The Scotish electro-pop, new-wave revival act is my most listend to band in 2021. They kept me afloat during the lock down in Norway in spring 2021. All their albums are super but their debute, spessial bonus track Strong Hand, that was bonus track on the debute album so an unoffical song. But their 2021 album is also gold. Chvrches to me is a sublime band with one of the most spessial vocalist in a very long time.

Chvrches is over Genesis, No Doubt, Jethro Tull and Ultravox.

Chvrches is a very strong music act, my greatest discovery in 2021

"The Mother We Share" when I first heard that song and the seccond time, on headphones i was completly overwhelmed by how powerfull that song is. The melody and the vocal melody of the leadsinger is of such understanding of timbre and vocal cadence and emotiveness of the power of melody. The pre chorus and chorus are the most impactfull piece of music i have heard this in a very long time. One of the most well crafted and clever songs i have heard in a long while.

Lauren Mayberry is one very good singer with a very crystal clear voice, with an impeccable ear for her understanding of melody.
