Hold Your Fire, it's the penultimate poll before The Final Cut. I'm predicting IQ will win this poll without much Resistance, but will another band be a Big Generator of votes? Time will tell.

Definitely Hold Your Fire; one of the most underrated albums in Rush's catalogue

Dig me...But don't...Bury me
I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive Warning: Listening to jazz excessively can cause a laxative effect. |

Big Generator over Genesis? Disagree and vote for Genesis.

Listened to this for the first time in ages yesterday. Couldn't bring myself to listen to the dreadful final track though.... |

I only know (listened to more than a couple of times) two albums: Van der Graaf Generator - ALT and Emerson, Lake & Palmer - In the Hot Seat. Of these, I would probably choose In the Hot Seat, which I think is OK and not the steaming pile of dung that many people seem to think it is, whereas ALT is my least favourite Van der Graaf Generator album and one that I can't even say that I like. I'm not going to vote for anything in this poll. |

No, I know how to behave in the restaurant now, I don't tear at the meat with my hands. If I've become a man of the world somehow, that's not necessarily to say I'm a worldly man.

KC here, one of my least favorite of their albums but this is a very weak field.

I really cannot get into Resistance, even though I loved the Road of Bones.
The only album I really like on that list is Harbour of Tears, though it took a lot of listens for me to "get" it.

In spite of its commercial success, the album Genesis is excellent.

This time I'm going with my beloved band Camel with Harbour of Tears. However, it's followed very close to Resistance of IQ. These are two amazing prog pieces.

Stormwatch is a very good album in my book, but ALT is too, and it needs more support it seems. Harbour of Tears is a fine album, and I recently heard a song from Tuscany among "random songs" on my player and it was much better than I remember the album to be, so may be worth a relisten.
